All Sarongs / Pareos are made in Indonesia from 100% Rayon (synthetic silk). We do regulary quality controls of the used materials in Indonesia. 

Rayon has the following superior features which makes it best used for the production of high quality Sarongs:

• non-iron

• quick-setting

• innocuous with allergies

• comfortable to wear on bare skin

• washing-mashine at 30°C

Material & Production

The production process of batiked Sarongs is pretty time-consuming. The basic wowen fabric has to be imbued several times for each color utilized. In doing so some parts of the sarong are covered by a thin wax layer which then derives into the characteristic batik-design. Therefore each sarong is unique and my vary slightly concerning the color and design..
